JCWPad  Name Your palette Colors JCWPad has been around since Talkgraphics member  Nostaw posted:  New Tool: JCWPad.   This is a handy utility program that can accept  palette files from some other applications and save  them as Xara palette files with the .jcw filename  extension. One advantage of using JCWPad is you can name the  colors even if the source palette does not support  names. The image to the  left shows JCWPad as it first starts. Edit Mode defaults to Percent, Color Space is CMYK, Color Type is Process Color, Automatic Color Naming defaults to Name Descriptive, Naming Description Length is 21 (Xara).  There is a sample “palette” in the text area with values for Black and White.  The text is in fixed column format with the color name within two sets of double quote characters.  A single space character is the separator between columns.  The columns for the color components are 6 characters wide, three digits to the left of the decimal and two to the right. You could simply type in all the information for a palette and save it to a .jcw file.  If you know all the required information ;-)
